This anchor has the traditional good holding power, which has always been associated with Danforth Standard Anchors. They have incredible holding power in sand, and are good in mud bottoms. The shank design ensures deep penetration. The shank is made of high strength steel, and the steel flukes are strong and wide. Hot dipped galvanized coating for long-lasting protection.

Delta anchors are plow anchors with a pivoting shank. This design uses a combination of design and weight to provide a fast set and solid hold in sandy, rocky, gravel or kelp bottom conditions. Delta anchors work well with a remote windlass and launch easily from standard bow rollers. This anchor style resists tides and wind movement. *This anchor style does not work well in soft/loose bed conditions like mud. 22 lb.
