The GOTCHA is one of the best known bonefish flies of all time. Designed somewhat by happenstance in the Bahamas. As the story goes, Jim McVay while traveling in a Bahamian taxi decided to clip some carpet fibers on the way to his room. Using the carpet to tie up some flies for the next day's fishing.
