Okuma Makaira Trolling Standup Rods were designed to work in unison with Okuma Makaira Reels. These standup rods are constructed of a carbon composite material that is both lightweight and powerful. Okuma equipped the Makaira rods with ALPS roller guides and ALPS heavy-duty aluminum reel seats. The fore and rear grips are shrink tube and are extremely comfortable. An aluminum gimbal on the back end completes what is a really nice set of rods.
