This non-dynamic rope is great for rappelling or hauling. EverFlex thermal treatment stabilizes the core strands and provides consist handling. Length includes 10% margin to compensate for rope shrinkage over time. Static strength (unknotted) is 28kN. Static strength when knotted is 16kN. Sheath percentage is 41%.

The Petzl Contact is a lightweight 60g/m and highly versatile 9.8mm sport climbing rope. The Petzl Contact 9.8mm has a surprisingly low impact force rating meaning it can deal with softer catches as well as the potential to handle big whippers up to seven times. Petzl's EverFlex treatment provides an enhanced grid and handling for many seasons. The Ultrasonic finish on the rope helps to prevent it from fraying increasing its durability.
